Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Finance & Accounts Executive to independently manage the firm’s accounting, payroll, and expense operations using Zoho Finance. The role requires hands-on expertise in Zoho Books, Zoho Expense, and Zoho Payroll, along with strong accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to compliance. The position involves end-to-end ownership of financial transactions, vendor payments, reimbursements, payroll cycles, and statutory reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting entries, reconciliation, and financial documentation on Zoho Books
- Process employee reimbursements and expense claims through Zoho Expense, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance
- Run complete monthly payroll cycles on Zoho Payroll, including salary structure updates, attendance integration, and payslip generation
- Process client invoices, payments, and maintain client records
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial summaries, and dashboards
- Handle statutory payments and filings – TDS, PF, ESI, PT, GST (coordination with CA firm where required)
- Coordinate with HR for attendance cut-offs, LWP adjustments, and employee master updates
- Prepare audit schedules and support internal / external audits
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trail for all financial transactions
- Support senior management with financial analysis and budgeting inputs
- Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and timely closure of monthly books.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce ( B.Com ) or equivalent; M.Com preferredMandatory : Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in :Zoho BooksZoho ExpenseZoho PayrollStrong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliancePrior experience managing full accounting cycles and payroll independentlyProficiency in MS Excel – formulas, reconciliation, and reportingStrong analytical ability and attention to detailHigh ownership, discipline, and ability to meet monthly deadlinesPreferred Attributes
