Job Title : IX-API Developer

Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IX-API Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing and integrating IX-API-based solutions, with a comprehensive understanding of internet exchange (IX) operations, network automation, and API-driven architectures. You will be instrumental in creating scalable, efficient systems that support our evolving network infrastructure and service delivery platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, build, and maintain IX-API-based applications for internet exchange platforms.
  • Integrate IX-API with both internal systems and third-party services.
  • Collaborate with network engineering and DevOps teams to automate provisioning and configuration tasks.
  • Ensure IX-API implementations conform to industry standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to API integrations and performance.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including API specifications and integration workflows.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Proven hands-on experience with IX-API development and integration.
  • Strong coding skills in Python, Go, or JavaScript.
  • Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and OpenAPI specifications.
  • Solid knowledge of internet exchange operations, BGP routing, and IP networking.
  • Experience with CI / CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Proficiency in network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to work independently.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Familiarity with EVPN, VXLAN, or other modern networking protocols.
  • Contributions to open-source IX-API projects or active community involvement.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
