Power BI Admin

Responsibilities :

• Platform Management : Administer and manage the Power BI service, ensuring its optimal performance, availability, and security within the organization.
• Security Model Implementation : Design, implement, and maintain the Power BI security model , including row-level security (RLS), object-level security (OLS), and user / group permissions to ensure data governance and compliance.
• Content Management : Oversee the deployment, management, and organization of Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets within the Power BI service.
• Gateway Management : Configure and manage Power BI gateways to ensure secure and efficient data connectivity to on-premises data sources.
• Performance Monitoring & Optimization : Monitor Power BI environment performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies for reports, dashboards, and data refresh processes.
• Troubleshooting & Support : Provide expert-level troubleshooting and technical support for Power BI users and issues related to data connectivity, report rendering, and performance.
• Best Practices & Governance : Establish and enforce best practices for Power BI development, deployment, and usage, contributing to data governance initiatives.
• Capacity Planning : Assist in planning Power BI capacity and scaling the environment to meet growing business demands.
• SQL Integration : Utilize SQL for data preparation, querying, and integration with Power BI datasets.
