Role Summary :
The Legal Manager will provide comprehensive legal support across business operations in multiple cities and airports in India, with a primary focus on the food and beverage (F&B) sector. Responsibilities include managing contracts, coordinating litigation, and overseeing intellectual property matters.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Contract Management (75%)
- Draft, review, and negotiate term sheets, MOUs, and agreements for :
- Franchise and similar business models
- Supplier and vendor arrangements
- Real estate contracts of low to medium complexity
- Ensure legal documents align with business objectives, regulatory norms, and risk mitigation strategies
2. Litigation Support
Manage litigation and arbitration with external counselRepresent the company in legal proceedings and regulatory forums.Maintain compliance with applicable laws, internal policies, and contractual obligations3. Intellectual Property (10%)
Support the trademark registration process for in-house brandsMaintain and manage IP-related records and databases4. Strategic & Operational Legal Support
Provide legal guidance for new initiatives and projectsMonitor evolving laws impacting the F&B industryCollaborate with internal teams to ensure legal alignment in commercial decisionsAssess contracts for tax and regulatory implicationsKey Requirements :
LL.B. with 4–8 years of experience in a law firm and / or corporate legal departmentStrong exposure to contract.Excellent command of written and spoken EnglishHigh energy, self-motivated, and proactiveAbility to multitask and work efficiently under pressureSharp legal acumen with a practical business-oriented approachKey Challenges :
