Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Python API Tester with 6+ years of experience in API automation testing, preferably in the telecom domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute API test scripts using Python.
  • Validate RESTful APIs, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Build automated test frameworks and maintain regression test suites.
  • Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Analyze test results, report defects, and track them to closure.
  • Ensure compliance with telecom industry standards and protocols.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in Python for API test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Postman, Swagger, REST Assured.
  • Familiarity with PyTest or Robot Framework.
  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitLab).
  • Proficient in writing SQL queries and working with databases.
  • Knowledge of telecom protocols (advantageous).
  • Good understanding of version control tools (Git).

    • Preferred Skills

  • Experience in telecom projects or telecom billing systems.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter is a plus.

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
