Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Teamcenter Reporting Analyst to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Teamcenter Reporting Analytics and experience with TcRA (Teamcenter Reporting and Analytics).

You will play a crucial role in designing, building, and managing complex reports within Teamcenter to enable effective decision-making processes and improve business operations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Build and maintain reports using TcRA BNP (Teamcenter Reporting and Analytics Business Intelligence Platform).
  • Design, develop, and implement complex reports such as BOM Compare, Change Aging, and other customized reporting requirements.
  • Create ad-hoc reports based on business needs and assist in data analysis for decision-making purposes.
  • Integrate Teamcenter data and other sources to generate insightful, actionable reports.
  • Understand and apply Teamcenter data models to design effective and optimized reports.
  • Analyze the relationships within the Teamcenter data model and identify key data elements that are necessary for generating accurate reports.
  • Collaborate with business teams to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Manage the Teamcenter Reporting and Analytics (TcRA) environment for effective data access and report generation.
  • Monitor and optimize report performance to ensure quick data retrieval and efficient report generation.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency within reports by validating data sources and aligning with business rules.
  • Experience in TcRA Installation and administration to set up, configure, and manage the reporting environment.
  • Perform upgrades and maintenance activities to keep the Teamcenter Reporting system up to date and optimized.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to report generation, data access, and system configurations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), engineering, and IT teams, to understand reporting needs and ensure timely delivery.
  • Support the business teams in utilizing reports for continuous process improvement.
  • Provide training and support to users regarding report usage, access, and interpretation.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

  • Teamcenter Reporting and Analytics (TcRA) experience is essential.
  • Proficiency in TcRA BNP (Business Intelligence Platform) for report building.
  • Strong understanding of Teamcenter data model, structures, and relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL, Teamcenter Query Language (TQL), and report development techniques.
  • Experience in report performance optimization and ensuring efficient data retrieval.
  • Knowledge of TcRA Installation and administration, including troubleshooting and maintaining the environment.
  • Experience :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in reporting or analytics, with 3+ years of experience in Teamcenter Reporting and Teamcenter data model management.
  • Demonstrated experience in building complex reports such as BOM Compare, Change Aging, and other related reporting functions.
  • Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements.
