Job Description

The Site Head of operations assists the General Manager with the overall management of the manufacturing site and industrial activities. He / She helps implement the necessary conditions to ensure production activities and deliveries, involving partners as needed. He / She coordinates shared industrial services and transversal functions. He / She is responsible for supporting the performance of SQDCPI and the improvement dynamics. Additionally, he / she acts as the deputy manager of the establishment.

Supervision & Leadership

• Ensures the health and safety of employees and compliance with related standards, rules, and regulations, including environmental ones.
• Ensures the implementation of Safran group rules, procedures, and policies, including those related to CSR.
• Assists in the preparation of budgets and PMTs, and ensures adherence to them.
• Participates in the site's management committee and QRQC 3.
• Works to ensure an efficient organization of the site.
• Interacts as needed with all internal stakeholders (support and functional departments) and external stakeholders (clients during visits, authorities, partners, suppliers, etc.).
• Manages local networks, relations to administration and Safran Electronics & Defense locally
• Develops teams and skills with the management committee.
• Manages Production Units, site supply chain, security, general means, maintenance, continuous improvement, and other activities of his entity.
• In coordination with Human Resources, ensures social relations, presides over the CSE and CSSCT, and works to maintain a positive social climate.
• Engages teams by relying on Safran's leadership model. Promotes the site's image and highlights successes and achievements.
