About the PositionWe are seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead multiple Agile development teams working on the Solifi Product suite. This role requires a combination of strong technical acumen and people management skills. The Development Manager will be responsible for driving software development and product enhancements, transitioning products to microservice-based architecture, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including QA, Product Management, and Operations Role and Responsibilities
Lead and manage high-performing engineering teams responsible for core development and product enhancements.Oversee product development using technologies including Grails, Java / J2EE, Angular, Spring, Spring Boot, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server. Knowledge in Unibasic is good to haveTranslate product requirements into technical user stories and prioritize within Agile product backlogs.Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features in line with business objectivesGuide teams through microservices migration and architecture modernization effortsConduct performance evaluations, mentoring, coaching, and career development of team membersHire and onboard engineers to build a scalable teamCollaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and stakeholders to align project planning, reviews, and retrospectivesResolve technical blockers and ensure execution of agile ceremoniesMaintain product integration with third-party tools and across other Solifi productsReview code, provide architectural guidance, and enforce engineering best practicesParticipate in Technical Design reviews and take complete accountability and ownership on Solution proposed and delivered meeting the success criteria.Gather and analyze team performance metrics for continuous improvementReview key metrics like defect density, defect backlog, time spent , team velocity and take corrective and preventive actions to improve the sameStay current with evolving technologies, and evaluate their fit for the organizationRepresent development in design reviews and demos to internal / external stakeholders.
