Role Responsibilities

• Provide support for AS400 systems including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Monitor system performance and take corrective actions to ensure optimal operation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system updates and changes.
• Assist in system upgrades, including planning and execution of migrations.
• Perform regular backups and restore operations to minimize data loss.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for system configurations and processes.
• Respond to client support tickets in a timely and professional manner.
• Train and support end-users in AS400 functionalities.
• Work closely with the IT team to analyze system requirements and provide recommendations.
• Maintain compliance with security policies and data protection regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application software running on AS400.
• Generate reports and analyze system usage data to identify improvement areas.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and user concerns.
• Assist in developing disaster recovery plans for AS400 systems.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements related to AS400 technologies.
