National Head of Business Development will be responsible for driving land acquisition, forging strategic partnerships, evaluating development opportunities, and enabling geographic expansion across India. This is a strategic leadership role, accountable for identifying and securing high-potential residential development opportunities aligned with the company's growth vision.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
20+ years in Business Development and Land Acquisition in reputed real estate companies with a strong residential portfolio.Deep understanding of land acquisition models, residential market dynamics, legal processes and regulatory compliance across multiple Indian states.Well-established relationships with key industry players, landowners, consultants, etc.Proven track record of closing high-value transactions and scaling operations across geographies.Key Responsibilities :
Work closely with the Founder & CEO and lead the formulation and execution of the PAN India business development and growth strategy.Identify and prioritize new geographies for expansion based on market demand, financial viability, and alignment with the company's long-term goals.Source and evaluate residential land parcels, joint development opportunities, and redevelopment deals across Tier 1 and emerging cities.Structure and negotiate transactions including outright purchases, joint ventures, and development management agreements.Build a robust and promising deal pipeline with actionable opportunities.Stay abreast of real estate trends, competitor strategies, and policy changes across key markets.Build and leverage a strong network of landowners, brokers and other key stakeholders to generate a deal flow.Oversee end-to-end technical, legal, and financial due diligence for identified properties.Work closely with internal teams to assess feasibility and risks.Lead a high-performing BD team with regional leaders and ground-level acquisition professionals.Provide mentorship, strategic direction, and performance oversight to team members.Engage with internal stakeholders including Founder, Regional CEO, IM and external partners to secure deal approvals.Represent the company in high-stakes discussions with landowners, institutional partners, government authorities, and legal advisors.Please note : Due to the confidentiality of the role, we will not be able to respond to individual messages or emails and will only be contacting relevant candidates.
