Role Overview :

As a Senior Designer at SAMATVA, you will lead the design process from concept to production, translating brand vision into cohesive, market-ready collections. You will collaborate closely with our creative, production, and merchandising teams to ensure designs are innovative, on-trend, and commercially viable.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the design of seasonal collections, from concept development to final samples.

Research and interpret fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and textures to inform design direction.

Develop detailed tech packs, sketches, and material boards for production teams.

Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and fostering creativity.

Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to ensure alignment of designs with brand strategy and customer expectations.

Attend fittings, provide constructive feedback, and ensure quality and fit standards.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field.

5+ years of experience in fashion design, preferably in apparel or streetwear / lifestyle brands.

Strong portfolio showcasing design expertise, creativity, and trend awareness.

Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and design software; experience with CAD systems is a plus.

Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric properties, and production processes.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
