Job descriptionDesign Experience : 10+ Years in Commercial Bldg., Hospital, Airport, Metro, Factories & Building, Ports, High Rise Building etc in a Contracting / consultancy firm. (High side & Low Side) Minimum Qualification : B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering Aptitude towards adaption of new technologies to improve productivity and quality Must be pro-active and well communicative in approach. Hand on experience in using various design software’s e.g., Heat Load (HAP / Equivalent), Duct Design, Pipe Design etc Well versed with Codal Requirement e.g. Relevant IS / ASHRAE / SMACNA / DW / NBC standards during design Hand on experience in preparation of Design Basis Report (DBR), Detailed BOQ, Concept Design Drgs & Documents Experience in project estimation. Exposure in designing IGBC rated buildings Experience in designing & selection of Equipment e.g., Centrifugal Chillers, Constant Speed Pumps, Variable Speed Pumping System, Cooling Towers, AHU, HRW, FCU, Various type of fans, VAV, VRF, PAC, etc. Experience in designing & selection of low side items e.g., Ducting, Piping, Chemical Dosing System, Insulation, Valves, Plant Room Pipe Rack, Chiller Plant Manager, Electricals of HVAC system, BMS integration etc Experience in Peer Review of design, drawings, documents. Experience in analysing Tender Documents, Drgs, etc, raising of Pre-bid queries Exposure in Techno-Commercial evaluation of Vendor / Subcontractor’s submission. Technical discussion with client, consultant, PMC and other stake holders Obtaining on time approval of Drgs, Material Submittals etc. Familiarization with AUTOCAD, BIM operation Hand on experience on review of MEP coordinated drawing
