Role Overview
The Creative Design Manager will lead the visual storytelling and design direction for MARS Cosmetics across all brand touchpoints. This role blends strategy, aesthetics, and leadership — ensuring every campaign, packaging, and digital experience reflects our bold, inclusive brand identity.
You’ll manage a team of designers and collaborate with marketing, product, and e-commerce teams to craft impactful visuals that resonate with our customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Creative Strategy & Direction
- Develop and maintain the visual identity and creative vision for MARS Cosmetics.
- Translate marketing objectives into clear, creative design strategies.
- Lead concept development for brand campaigns, product launches, and social media.
2. Design Execution & Oversight
Oversee all visual design outputs — including packaging, digital assets, website design, retail branding, and print materials.Ensure consistency and innovation across all creative materials.Manage design timelines, deliverables, and feedback cycles to meet campaign goals.3. Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of graphic designers, motion designers, and visual artists.Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and content teams to ensure creative alignment.Provide constructive feedback and foster a culture of creativity and excellence.4. Brand Experience & Innovation
Stay ahead of beauty, fashion, and digital design trends to keep MARS visually fresh and relevant.Experiment with emerging design tools, technologies, and formats (e.g., AR filters, 3D packaging renders).Maintain a strong understanding of consumer behavior and visual storytelling in the beauty industry.Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field.8–10 years of experience in design, with at least 3 years in a managerial or lead role (preferably in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle).Skills & Competencies
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and / or Figma.Exceptional visual storytelling, typography, and layout design skills.Experience managing creative production from concept to execution.Ability to balance creativity with strategic business goals.Excellent leadership, communication, and project management abilities.Familiarity with digital and social-first content design principles.
