We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Apigee Developer to join our team. As a Senior Apigee Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our Apigee API platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design API solutions, and implement them using Apigee Edge.

Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure Apigee API platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective API solutions.
Implement API proxies, security measures, and policies using Apigee Edge.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in the API infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve the API design and functionality.
Optimize API performance and scalability by implementing best practices and leveraging caching and load balancing techniques.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in API management, Apigee, and related technologies.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, sharing best practices and promoting knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience as an Apigee Developer, with a strong understanding of API design and development.

Solid knowledge of Apigee Edge and its components, including API proxies, policies, and analytics.

Proficiency in implementing security measures such as OAuth, JWT, and encryption within Apigee Edge.

Strong understanding of RESTful API principles and best practices.

Experience with API management tools and technologies.

Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex API-related issues.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications :

Apigee certification(s) or relevant certifications in API management.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) for API customization and automation.
