Job description

What is Expected of You ?

  • Leverage your advanced data analysis skills to extract actionable insights from complex datasets, empowering stakeholders to make informed decisions.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in data analysis products, with a primary focus on Power BI.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation, insightful blogs, and engaging video tutorials that educate both internal teams and external customers on the effective use of data analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Actively mentor and train Level 1 (L1) data analysts, enhancing their troubleshooting skills and their ability to independently solve issues.
  • Collaborate directly with customers to deeply understand their unique data analysis requirements, providing prompt and effective solutions to their queries.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI to drive critical business insights.
  • Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to effectively extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources.
  • Optimize and maintain SQL databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and reliability.
  • Develop robust data models and implement sophisticated DAX calculations in Power BI for advanced analytics.
  • Integrate Power BI with diverse data sources, including various databases, cloud storage solutions, and APIs.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to meticulously gather requirements and translate them into actionable Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues related to Power BI dashboards and SQL queries, ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Power BI, SQL, and the broader field of data analytics.

    • Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science).
  • Proven experience in designing and developing interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.
  • Strong expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Experience in optimizing and maintaining SQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
  • Proficiency in developing data models and implementing DAX calculations in Power BI for advanced analytics.
  • Demonstrable experience in integrating Power BI with various data sources, including databases, cloud storage, and APIs.
  • Ability to work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable BI solutions.
  • Experience in troubleshooting performance issues related to Power BI dashboards and SQL queries.
  • A strong drive to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Power BI, SQL, and data analytics.

    • Good to Have :

  • Exposure to additional BI processes like Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.
  • Previous work experience as a Software Developer will be a significant plus.
