What success looks like in this role :
As a Hyper-V and Windows Administrator SME, you will be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing Hyper-V virtualization environments and Windows Server infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of virtualization technologies, particularly Hyper-V, as well as expertise in Windows Server operating systems. In this role you will also be responsible for managing data security, configuring user access, and maintaining the stability and availability of Infrastructre.
Key Responsibilities :
- Install, configure, and manage Windows Server operating systems.
- Implement and maintain Active Directory services, including user and group management.
- Monitor and ensure the security and stability of Windows Server environments.
- Apply patches, updates, and security configurations to Windows servers.
- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Assessing the stability, security, and scalability of installed Windows systems.
- Conduct performance analysis and implement enhancements to improve system efficiency.
- Work closely with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance-related issues.
- Design, implement, and maintain Hyper-V virtualization environments.
- Configure and optimize virtual machines (VMs) for performance and resource efficiency.
- Manage virtual networks and storage to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Hyper-V virtualization.
- Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Assessing the stability, security, and scalability of installed Windows systems.
- Providing technical support for staff and back-end system users.
- Review and troubleshoot system error logs and user-reported errors.
- Managing user access.
- Implement and enforce security best practices for Hyper-V and Windows environments.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Qualifications :
