WHY YOU'LL LOVE THIS JOB :

The role is part of the PSA Tech Ops Division of the PSA Tech Services Center. This role involves developing and implementing process improvements, collaborating with various departments on technical issues, and maintaining technical documentation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO :

This list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non-essential job functions) that are not referenced. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.

  • Analyze and resolve Minimum Equipment List (MEL) discrepancies
  • Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams to resolve technical issues and implement solutions
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including MELs, repair schemes, and other maintenance-related documents
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify root causes of technical issues and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity in MEL completion and maintenance operations
  • On a rotating basis provide 7 day a week coverage for the program within PSA's fleet
  • ALL YOU'LL NEED FOR SUCCESS

    Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • 3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, engineering, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and FAA guidelines
  • FAA 121 Airline Operator and associated FARs or equivalent experience
  • Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience :

  • Experience with MEL completion and maintenance operations
  • Knowledge of PSA' maintenance procedures and policies
  • Experience with technical documentation and record-keeping
  • Skills, Licenses, and Certifications :

  • Strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • LANGUAGE / COMMUNICATION SKILLS :

  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organization
