Job description

Role & Responsibilities

  • Identify Technological improvement opportunities across value chain & find technical solution
  • Implement improvement projects, by identifying new cutting edge technology & technology upgradation, in areas like Energy, Quality & Productivity
  • Implementation of Projects end to end- Identification, conceptualization, Supplier identification & management, cost benefit analysis, Internal stakeholder management,, budgeting, implementation
  • Identify pain points in process & new technologies available to address the same
  • Support and lead continuous improvement, problem solving and process improvement activities
  • Conduct benchmarking studies to determine best practices / designs and future trends
  • Liaoning with external technology providers, Suppliers, contractors
  • MIS generation
  • Ability to negotiate & convince the all stakeholders
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, Analytical skills, Ability to present data effectively, Problem-solving skills
  • Understand & practice Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and TPM

Qualification & Experience

  • Post graduation or graduation in Engineering (Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical)
  • Six sigma black belt or Green belt certification from Professional Body
  • Working experience of min.10 + years in manufacturing plants especially from Glass / Steel / Cement in implementing technology improvement projects and process improvements
  • Technical expertise in the work area, Distinguished record of creativity and innovation
  • Ability to use Computer, MS Office Packages

  • Inclination towards understanding & learning current technology trends & adopting same
