ITSM Consultant – ServiceNow (CIS-ITSM Certified)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
IT Service Management (ITSM) professional
with strong expertise in ServiceNow. The candidate must hold the
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – IT Service Management (CIS-ITSM)
certification and have proven hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting ServiceNow ITSM modules.
Key Responsibilities
Implement, configure, and customize ServiceNow ITSM modules including
Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, CMDB, and Service Catalog .
Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver high-quality implementations.
Ensure ITSM processes align with
ITIL best practices
and business needs.
Conduct workshops, prepare design documents, and provide end-user training / documentation.
Perform system testing, integration, and support during UAT / production rollout.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for upgrades, enhancements, and integrations with third-party systems.
Provide post-implementation support and continuous service improvements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
ServiceNow CIS-ITSM certification
(mandatory).
Strong understanding of
ITIL framework
and ITSM processes.
3–6 years of hands-on ServiceNow implementation / configuration experience.
Experience with
Workflows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Catalog Items, and Integrations .
Good communication and client-facing skills for requirement gathering and solution workshops.
Ability to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and provide ongoing support.
Preferred Skills
ServiceNow certifications beyond CIS-ITSM (CSA, CAD, CIS in other modules).
Experience in
CMDB design & discovery , automation, or ITOM modules.
Exposure to
Agile / DevOps environments .
