Ethoca, a Mastercard company, is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to join our Enterprise Information Management team who is a self-starter to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment. This is an individual contributor role that is responsible for developing and supporting data enabled solutions that are strategic for the business and built on the latest technologies. You will be part of the Ethoca Data Science team that is working on interesting challenges which will directly impact the product.

Responsibilities

• Independently manages and manipulates large data sets and applies various technical and statistical analytical techniques to draw insights from large data sets.
• Communicates with client counterparts to ensure customer needs are being addressed when designing data analyses and technical solutions.
• Reviews and applies complex analytical techniques or tools to draw meaningful and insightful observations and trends from large / complex data sets.
• Develops sophisticated data models and analytic solutions (e.g., dashboards, prototypes), utilizing complex statistical and data science techniques and methods.
• Independently manage and apply multiple AI / ML models to different data sets to improve data quality.
• Support in re-training / refresh of ML models.
• Support and lead in building models and algorithms.
• Participate and lead data quality initiatives and assist in building data quality process where needed.
• Write complex SQL queries & conduct data analysis to address different questions to support business case studies and ad-hoc requests.

Experiences

Skills

Masters in computer science / STEM area is preferable. B.Tech / B.E / BS in computer science or quant is required.
