Position : SAP BTP Architect / Senior Consultant

(Full-Time – Sierra Digital Inc.)

Location : Coimbatore, Tamilnadu - Onsite 100%

We collaborate closely with SAP leadership and global customers across Energy, Utilities, and Public Sector to deliver Clean Core, AI, and Data Transformation initiatives.

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Architect / Senior Consultant to lead solution design, development, and implementation of next-generation Business AI , Integration Suite , and Cloud ABAP –based innovations. The role will drive Sierra’s IP development and customer delivery around S / 4HANA Clean Core extensions , BDC integration , and AI-enabled use cases .

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the design and build of SAP BTP-based extensions (ABAP Cloud, CAP, and SAP Build Apps).
Drive PI / PO to Integration Suite migrations using Sierra’s proprietary accelerator.
Develop and maintain BW to BDC modernization blueprints and connectors.
Collaborate with SAP Product Teams on Business AI enablement, including Joule and SAP AI Core use cases.
Implement ABAP Cloud –based RESTful APIs and event-driven extensions aligned with Clean Core strategy.
Build and deploy Sierra’s AI use cases on BTP AI Core integrated with BDC and S / 4HANA.
Provide architecture guidance on multi-tenant BTP environments , security, and lifecycle management.
Work closely with Sierra’s leadership on Endorsed App and Partner Co-Innovation programs.

Required Skills & Experience :

8–12 years of SAP experience with at least 3+ years in SAP BTP (hands-on development and architecture).

Deep understanding of :

SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh)

SAP ABAP Cloud and RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)

SAP Business Application Studio and CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)

SAP AI Core / Generative AI Hub and Business Data Cloud concepts

Experience in Clean Core implementation , side-by-side extensibility , and S / 4HANA extensions .

Strong knowledge of OData, CDS views, and REST API design .

Exposure to AI or ML integration within BTP preferred.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience :

Prior work with SAP BTP + Business AI initiatives (e.g., Joule, AI Launchpad).

Knowledge of Datasphere / HANA Cloud and BDC integration .

Experience collaborating with SAP or co-innovation partners.

Energy, Utilities, or Public Sector domain experience is a plus.
