Could you be the full-time Product Introduction (PI) Field Engineer in (LOCATION) we’re looking for?

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a vital role in ensuring the successful introduction of Alstom products, supporting technical activities during the Product Introduction (PI) period, and driving reliability improvements. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as the PI support team, Quality team, and Project Engineering team), provide technical guidance to technicians, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address technical challenges and ensure customer satisfaction.
You’ll specifically take care of investigating and resolving technical issues, as well as supporting field modifications and configuration control, but also drive reliability growth through failure investigation and preventative measures.
We’ll look to you for :
Supporting technical activities on Alstom products during the PI period, including commissioning and warranty phases
Diagnosing and resolving malfunctions or failures in operational equipment
Providing technical guidance to technicians for troubleshooting and repairs
Driving containment actions to prevent failure recurrence
Ensuring completeness and quality of failure / event diagnosis and documentation
Facilitating communication flow within the PI Customer Site, PI functions, and project teams
Supporting technical reviews with internal and external stakeholders
Applying EHS requirements and supporting obsolescence management

A degree in Engineering or Industrial fields
Experience or understanding of mechanical or electrical / electronic engineering
Knowledge of railway safety and RAMEHS principles
Familiarity with product knowledge and data analytics
A master’s degree in Engineering (desirable)
Problem-solving skills and customer interaction experience
DFQ, Quality, and Audit knowledge
