Finance Manager (CA is Mandatory)

Job descriptionSupport preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and rolling projections. Deliver monthly MIS, variance analysis, and dashboards for management review. Partner with business units to track project-level profitability, cash flows, and cost controls. Monitor and manage cash flows to ensure the smooth running of operations. Optimize working capital by managing receivables, payables, and vendor payments. Develop cash flow forecasts to anticipate funding needs. Support debt compliance, interest servicing, and lender reporting Oversee general accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (GST, TDS, income tax, etc.) and timely filing of returns. Coordinate with auditors to complete statutory and internal audits Establish and maintain internal financial controls to mitigate risks. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations. Drive automation and digitization of finance processes, with focus on Zoho Books implementation and reporting improvements. Continuously improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting timelines. Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring their professional growth. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, business development to align financial goals with business objectives. Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax consultants, and banks. Qualification : Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred with strong accounting background 4+ years of experience is required with at least 2–3 years in a Controller / Manager role Strong financial acumen and analytical skills. Deep understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Hands-on experience in cash flow management, working capital, and cost optimization. Experience in Zoho books is an added advantage. Ability to work in a fast-paced promoter-driven environment Opportunity to work closely with the promoters on strategic financial management. Exposure to diverse businesses and projects. Key responsibilities :
Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee accounting and financial reporting across group entities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind-AS, Companies Act).
- Ensure timely and accurate MIS reports for management review.
- Conduct variance analysis between actuals and budgets to monitor financial performance
