Role Overview

As a Data & AI Engineer, you’ll lead the design and implementation of Kaitongo’s data infrastructure and AI pipelines.

You’ll work closely with the backend (Python / Django), frontend (React), and leadership teams to define how data is ingested, structured, processed, and transformed into AI-driven insights.

You’ll also review and approve PRs, set coding standards, and own the evolution of Kaitongo’s data and model architecture.

Key Responsibilities

AI / GenAI Systems

• Develop and manage RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines using vector databases (Weaviate, OpenAI, etc.).
• Optimize LLM workflows and agents — including prompt chains, context retrieval, fine-tuning, and caching.
• Collaborate with backend and product teams to productionize GenAI capabilities.
