Cloud L1 Administrator

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Cloud L1 Administrator to join our technology team. This role focuses primarily on the administration monitoring and maintenance of our large-scale virtualization infrastructure built on VMware. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing a complex VM environment and is eager to contribute to a critical part of our cloud ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily administration monitoring and maintenance tasks for the VMware vSphere environment .
• Provide L1 support for all virtualization infrastructure issues ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
• Manage and maintain core VMware components including vCenter Server ESXi hosts and ESX servers .
• Execute virtualization operations such as vMotion High Availability ( HA ) and Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS).
• Handle routine tasks including creation deployment and management of Virtual Machine Templates and Snapshots .
• Assist in migration activities including Physical-to-Virtual ( P2V ) and Virtual-to-Virtual ( V2V ) conversions.
• Monitor system performance troubleshoot common issues and escalate complex problems to L2 / L3 teams as necessary.
• Ensure all infrastructure changes and operations adhere to internal policies and change management procedures.
