Client Requirement | 3-Month Contract | Pan India

We are hiring on behalf of our client for a freelance Windchill Developer to support a high-impact project focused on code optimization, complex workflow customization, and cross-platform integration. This is a hands-on, technical role requiring deep knowledge of Windchill PDMLink and a proven track record in managing large-scale PLM customizations.

Role Overview :

This role requires a mid-level Windchill Developer who can hit the ground running and contribute immediately to an ongoing optimization initiative. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements, resolve bugs, and ensure performance across multiple integrated environments (Azure, Maximo, etc.).

Key Responsibilities :

Customize and optimize existing Windchill PDMLink functionalities with a focus on scalability and performance.
Implement and troubleshoot Change Management Flows, OIRs, Types & Attributes, loadFiles, and build scripts.
Work with Data Utilities, Table Processors, Form Processors, and Listeners for tailored PLM experiences.
Modify and configure Workflows without disrupting dependencies across integrated environments.
Use REST APIs to enhance integration and functionality of existing systems.
Perform code reviews and optimize legacy logic to improve handling of large datasets.
Develop custom pages using basic JavaScript, HTML, and manage PDF publishing / Worker configurations.
Customize email notification templates and triggers for different event scenarios.
Manage codebase and tasks using GitHub and JIRA within sprint cycles (maximum sprint length : 8 days).
Collaborate daily with multiple technical teams to ensure cross-system compatibility and efficient deployment.
Remain available for ad hoc fixes or configuration changes identified during production support.

Must-Have Skills :

Strong experience in Windchill PDMLink, especially in Change Management and large-scale code optimization.

Deep understanding of Workflow customization and form / data listener configuration.

Proficient with REST API integration.

Familiarity with HTML / JavaScript for lightweight custom UI pages.

Strong debugging skills and the ability to resolve bugs within a tight timeline.

Knowledge of email notification systems, PDF Worker configuration, and publishing logic.

Comfortable working with GitHub and JIRA in an Agile sprint-based model.

Nice to Have :

Working knowledge of JasperReports or similar reporting tools.

Exposure to integrated environments like Azure and IBM Maximo.
