Job description

YOUR MISSION

Key Objectives :

  • We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Manager of Technical Operations to oversee our technical scope for Ecommerce and manage internal and external technical operations team .
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the technical infrastructure, ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT operations, exceptional leadership skills, technical solutioning, building scalable solutions, product knowledge, analytical skills, proficiency in Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and a proven track record of managing complex technical environments.

Reporting and Analysis :

Develop and present regular reports on technical operations performance, system metrics, and project status to senior management.

Analyze operational data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for innovation.

Project Management :

Lead and manage technical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and other technical initiatives.

Security and Compliance :

Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices for security and data protection.

Oversee the implementation of security measures to protect the company's technical infrastructure and data.

Reporting and Analysis :

Develop and present regular reports on technical operations performance, system metrics, and project status to senior management.

Analyze operational data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for innovation.

YOUR TALENT

Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT operations or a related field, with at least 3 to 5 years in a core development role.

Strong working knowledge of SFCC and SFSC preferred.

Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, including database s and cloud services.

Strong Technical knowledge of SEO, GA and Tag management.

Strong working knowledge on Web services , Mirco service architectures.

Experience with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks and best practices, such as ITIL.

Familiarity with security standards and compliance requirements.

Working knowledge of CMS like WordPress and WooCommerce, and prior experience in Ecommerce is preferred.

Proven experience in managing large-scale technical projects and initiatives.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Technical Capabilities :

Proficiency in JavaScript and related frameworks like React , NodeJS

Experience with payment method integration using multiple Frameworks across platforms.

Understanding of Docker and containerization.

Proficiency in code review, UAT .

Experience with cloud solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Experience in writing complex SQL queries.

Preferred Skills :

Certifications like PMP, SCRUM or ITIL or relevant technical certifications.

Proficiency on tools – JIRA, Confluence, CRM tools.

Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools .

E xperience in working with multi-national / multi time zone teams
