Role Overview

We are looking for a strategic and performance-driven Category Head / Associate Director to lead the CA / CS / CMA category. The ideal candidate will drive category growth through effective P&L management, educator partnerships, learner engagement, and execution excellence. You will be responsible for setting the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the category while ensuring

measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Category Ownership : Own the P&L for the CA / CS / CMA category, driving growth, profitability, and learner outcomes.
  • Strategy & Execution : Define short-term and long-term strategies for category expansion, educator acquisition, and learner retention.
  • Team Leadership : Lead and mentor category associates, managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure strong execution and performance.
  • Educator Management : Identify, onboard, and manage top educators; drive collaborations that align with brand and learner expectations.
  • Operational Excellence : Streamline workflows for class scheduling, academic planning, and learner engagement in coordination with central and regional teams.
  • Revenue & Growth : Monitor key performance metrics, analyze business trends, and implement data-backed initiatives to achieve revenue targets.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Growth teams to deliver best-in-class category outcomes.
  • Learner Experience : Ensure high-quality academic delivery, learner satisfaction, and brand consistency across all touchpoints.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a Tier 1 institute and MBA from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 college.
  • 3–6 years of experience in Category Management, Business Operations, or P&L Management, preferably in EdTech or Education domains.
  • Proven expertise in revenue management, strategic planning, and stakeholder leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; data-driven decision-making ability.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience in managing teams and driving business growth in a fast-paced environment.
