The Opportunity

We're seeking an

Intermediate Accountant with Australian Tax Experience

to join us

In-Office . This role is ideal for someone who has already gained hands-on exposure to Australian Accounting and Taxation requirements and is ready to step into a role with more responsibility, client impact, and career growth.

Key Responsibilities :

As an Intermediate Accountant, you will :

Prepare

Financial Statements

in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards

Prepare

Individual, Company, Trust, and Partnership Income Tax Returns

Complete

Business Activity Statements (BAS), GST, and basic FBT calculations

Assist in preparing workpapers and ensure supporting documentation is accurate and complete

Conduct reconciliations of accounts including bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations

Work closely with senior accountants to clarify requirements and ensure quality outputs

Manage time effectively to meet deadlines for compliance and reporting deliverables

Apply attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tax and accounting outputs

Proactively develop your technical knowledge of Australian tax and accounting through training and mentorship

What We're Looking For

Must have prior Australian Accounting and Tax Experience

equivalent to an Intermediate Accountant role

Strong knowledge of Australian compliance requirements and accounting standards

Familiarity with accounting and tax software (e.g.,

Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, HandiTax, or similar )

Strong analytical skills and commitment to accuracy

Willingness to learn, grow, and be mentored by senior accountants

Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a professional team environment
