Role Overview :

As a Senior Designer at SAMATVA, you will lead the design process from concept to production, translating brand vision into cohesive, market-ready collections. You will collaborate closely with our creative, production, and merchandising teams to ensure designs are innovative, on-trend, and commercially viable.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the design of seasonal collections, from concept development to final samples.
  • Research and interpret fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and textures to inform design direction.
  • Develop detailed tech packs, sketches, and material boards for production teams.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and fostering creativity.
  • Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to ensure alignment of designs with brand strategy and customer expectations.
  • Attend fittings, provide constructive feedback, and ensure quality and fit standards.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in fashion design, preferably in apparel or streetwear / lifestyle brands.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design expertise, creativity, and trend awareness.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and design software; experience with CAD systems is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric properties, and production processes.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
