JOB SUMMARY
This role is responsible for achieving revenue and growth targets for mid- market advertisers in the assigned category. As an Assistant Manager, you will drive business by building strong relationships with advertisers, agencies, and government bodies, delivering customized solutions across JioStars extensive Digital and TV platforms. The position also focuses on expanding the client base and reinforcing JioStars reputation as the preferred partner for impactful and innovative advertising solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Manage revenue targets for government accounts in the North & East markets, positioning JioStar as a preferred partner for central govt departments, PSUs, and tourism boards across TV &Digital / OTT platforms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, nodal agencies (e.g., CBC / NFDC), and media planners to secure regular campaigns and long-term partnerships.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive pitches, customised content solutions, and leveraging JioStars impact properties & IPs.
- Participate in and respond to government tenders, RFPs, rate contracts, and media plan rollouts, ensuring full compliance with regulations.
- Ensure proper servicing and execution of campaigns with zero wastage of targets and optimal inventory utilization.
- Coordinate with internal teams (legal, finance, creative, brand solutions) for seamless campaign delivery, adherence to guidelines, and timely billing & payments.
- Use market insights, competitor analysis, and policy updates to shape strategy and strengthen JioStars positioning in the government advertising space.
Skills & Attributes for success
Experience managing central government, PSU & North / East tourism board accounts.Ad sales expertise in Digital / TV and exposure to digital / OTT platforms preferred.Proficient in CRM tools & MS Excel.Strong interpersonal, analytical & organizational skills.Numerical aptitude with a proactive problem-solving approach.Preferred Education & Experience
Graduate or Postgraduate with 68 years experience in Government ad sales, business development, account management, or client relationship management, preferably with exposure to digital / OTT ad sales.
