AI Practice Head – Engineering & Innovation

Role Overview

Elfonze Technologies is seeking a seasoned digital technologist who has successfully transitioned from Full-Stack / Digital Engineering (Java, Angular, React, Node.js, Python) into the AI and Intelligent Systems domain .

The AI Evangelist will architect and evangelize Elfonze’s AI vision — defining strategy, building internal AI capabilities, and integrating next-gen intelligence across our digital, cloud, and Oracle ecosystems.

This role is ideal for a hardcore technology leader who can bridge the gap between engineering excellence and AI innovation , enabling the organization to scale AI adoption and productize its capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI Strategy & Leadership

Define and execute the AI transformation roadmap for Elfonze across service lines (Digital, Oracle, Cloud, and Product).

Identify opportunities to embed LLMs, GenAI, and automation in delivery, pre-sales, and internal systems.

Build the internal AI Guild / Center of Excellence , set technology standards, and guide implementation teams.

2. Engineering & Productization

Architect and deliver AI-powered applications and platforms using modern frameworks and APIs.

Lead development of AI-integrated microservices, chatbots, document intelligence systems, and autonomous agents.

Collaborate with delivery and digital teams to infuse AI into existing platforms

Evaluate and deploy AI tools and frameworks — LangChain, LlamaIndex, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Azure OpenAI, Oracle AI Services, Hugging Face, etc.

3. AI Infrastructure & MLOps

Design and maintain end-to-end AI pipelines , covering model selection, vectorization, prompt orchestration, and deployment.

Leverage Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native MLOps frameworks (MLflow, Weights & Biases) for model lifecycle management.

Implement vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma) and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures.

Ensure compliance and governance across AI models, APIs, and data access layers.

4. AI Evangelism & Mentorship

Conduct internal workshops and hands-on sessions on LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI integration best practices .

Mentor teams on transitioning from traditional full-stack development to AI-augmented engineering .

Represent Elfonze in external AI events, Oracle AI summits, and technology conferences.

Contribute to AI GTM collaterals, proposals, and client solution accelerators .

Experience & Qualifications

8–14 years total experience in Digital Engineering, with 2–3 years of hands-on AI / GenAI solution experience.

Proven track record of delivering scalable digital applications (microservices, cloud-native, UI / UX-focused).

Strong understanding of LLM architecture, embeddings, prompt design, and API-based AI integration.

Experience in building or deploying AI assistants, Copilot-style productivity tools, or domain-specific GenAI apps.

Cloud certification or AI specialization (Azure AI Engineer, TensorFlow Developer, Oracle AI) preferred.
