KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Should have global exposure and keep abreast of new trends and future advancements in their field of expertise for one or both from the below-

HPAPI- OSD and Aseptic processing

Biotechnology

Should primarily operate in the India market with the flexibility to extend support to APAC, EMEA, and US regions as required.

Should connect with global SMEs as needed.

Should lead the team in conceptualizing, front-end engineering, and detailed engineering while providing various options and value addition in process engineering to enhance project outcomes.

Establishes contact with potential clients and obtains the client's history to develop a client profile.

Engages as Subject Matter Experts to enhance Organization's brand and client engagement, developing client and sub-contractor relations and promoting brand awareness.

Participates in events to promote BD initiatives by seeking out new projects with existing or new clients.

Contributes to the preparation and delivery of strategic sales presentations and proposals for the Life Sciences region.

Coordinates with project management teams and discipline directors to determine the scope, complexity, and requirements of projects.

Defines an appropriate, cost-effective workflow process and level of design detail to achieve project goals.

Ensures the quality, accuracy, consistency, and completeness of work in alignment with process architectural and process design principles, and compliance with established standards, procedures, codes, and ordinances.

Regularly reviews productivity and quality reports to ensure optimal performance.

Facilitates master planning, feasibility studies, and conceptual design for assigned projects.

Defines design philosophies and facility design parameters for special projects as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS / WORK EXPERIENCE :

20 + Years of Process Design experience within the Pharmaceutical industry working with (one or more) oral solid dosage (OSD), Aseptic Processing, Biologics and ATMP (Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products).

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or College, in Engineering or relevant science, Masters / Ph.D. will be preferred.

Strong proficiency in office software, including MW Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.

GMP design experience along with regulatory requirement of various international bodies.

General knowledge of system design and applicable codes in process engineering.

Active participation in industry organizations and related initiatives is strongly preferred (for example : speaking engagements, presenting at industry events and conferences, etc.)

Proven experience interacting and communicating directly with clients and leading conceptual design efforts.

Has a demonstrated ability to manage projects, problem solve, communicate effectively to all key personnel, time manage, and the ability to work on more than one project at a time.
