Key Responsibilities :
Sales & Revenue Growth :
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Drive primary and secondary sales through effective planning and execution.
- Implement sales strategies to increase product penetration and market share.
Distributor & Channel Management :
Appoint, manage, and develop distributors and stockists.Monitor distributor ROI, stock levels, claims, credit management, and performance KPIs.Ensure proper distribution network expansion across the territory.Retail & Trade Management :
Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and channel partners.Conduct regular market visits to track product availability, merchandising, and competitor activity.Ensure high-quality execution of visibility, trade promotions, and market activation plans.Team Management (If applicable) :
Manage and mentor Sales Officers / Sales Representatives in the territory.Conduct daily / weekly performance reviews and field coaching.Build a motivated, high-performing sales team.Market Insights & ReportingGather and analyse market intelligence, competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer needs.Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and business reviews.Provide insights to marketing and category teams for better decision-making.Operational Excellence :
Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and ethical standards.Coordinate with supply chain, finance, and marketing teams for smooth operations.Oversee execution of brand initiatives, product launches, and promotional activities.Required Skills & Experience :
3-8 years of FMCG sales experienceProven track record in achieving sales targets and managing FMCG distribution.Strong understanding of GT channels, retailer networks, and trade marketing.Experience in territory mapping, route planning, and market expansion.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in MS Excel, sales reporting tools, and CRM systems (if applicable).Key Personal Attributes :
