Role Description

Seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Analyst / System Administrator with 6+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise IT support. The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in MS SQL database management, expertise with ServiceNow, strong experience in Active Directory and Azure Virtual Desktop, and a wide knowledge of Windows server environments and related troubleshooting domains.​

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform regular MS SQL database backups, restores, and validations of complex SQL queries.
  • Manage user support / ticket requests via ServiceNow platform, ensuring SLA compliance and accurate recordkeeping.
  • Administer Active Directory tasks : password resets, account unlocks, group creation, enforcement of AD policies, and user profile resets.
  • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and resolve escalated technical issues involving Windows OS, IIS, and digital certificate management.
  • Support users with basic and advanced system troubleshooting, maintenance routines, and IT asset management.
  • Document support solutions, create self-help knowledge articles, and mentor junior support analysts.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams for escalated issues, upgrades, and change implementations.​

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years in technical support, service desk, or IT operations roles.
  • Strong knowledge of MS SQL database administration : backup / restore, scripting, and query validation.
  • Practical experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM tools.
  • Advanced Active Directory skills : account management, group policy, and user profile maintenance.
  • Demonstrable experience managing and troubleshooting Azure Virtual Desktop deployments.
  • Proficiency in Windows OS troubleshooting, including IIS and certificate management.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and documentation skills.
  • Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified : Azure Administrator, Windows Server, or SQL Server.
  • ServiceNow Administrator certification.
  • ITIL Foundation v3 / v4 certification.
