About you

As our Acting Manager, Learning & Development , you’ll play a key role in shaping engaging onboarding experiences and delivering high impact learning solutions that build capability and drive performance across RACGP.

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring :

• Tertiary qualification in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years in an L&D management role with responsibility for designing and implementing organisation wide programs.
• Proven experience in L&D project management, including content design, development, and delivery at multiple levels.
• Strong capability in defining, embedding, and evaluating success measures and Return on Learning (ROL).
• A proactive, data-driven mindset with the ability to uncover insights and craft compelling narratives that influence and inspire

About the opportunity

This is a backfill opportunity to cover long service leave. Reporting to the Head of Organisational Development, you’ll lead the Learning & Development function and  play a pivotal role in advancing RACGP’s learning strategy and organisational development initiatives.

Key areas of focus include :

• Leadership & Capability Programs : Plan, schedule, and launch leadership and core capability programs aligned with the RACGP Capability Framework, including evaluation of pilot programs.
• Evaluation Framework : Oversee the establishment of an L&D evaluation framework.
• Onboarding Refresh : Lead the review and provide recommendations to refresh our onboarding programs.
• People Leadership : Provide ongoing leadership and support for a team of 3-4 L&D professionals.
