Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Pastry Chef located in the South Goa district. The Assistant Pastry Chef will be responsible for assisting the head pastry chef in daily tasks such as preparing, baking, and cooking a variety of bakery items. They will help ensure the quality and presentation of the baked goods meet the standards of The Donut Affair. Additional tasks include inventory management, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and adhering to food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bakery, Baking, and Culinary Skills
• Food Preparation and Cooking skills
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards for food quality and presentation
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen is a plus
• Formal training or certification in pastry arts is desirable
