About the Role
The Agency has recently moved to a centralised procurement function which provides a range of procurement management operations from centrally delivered to self-service by business areas. The Procurement Business Partner (PBP) is accountable under broad direction to perform complex work and deliver key outcomes focusing on procurement and commercial advice, within the divisions they are responsible for.
The PBP will partner with business areas to learn and support their procurement activities, to deliver appropriate and compliant procurement activities. They will provide strategic advice to senior management, including identifying procurement activities and developing strategic procurement plans to build procurement capability across the Agency.
As a procurement professional, the PBP will utilise their knowledge and expertise to contribute to the broader operation of the Finance Branch and Agency. They will work with a high level of autonomy and accountability to perform these tasks and review the work of others. Reporting to the Director – Procurement Services, the PBP may lead a small team and mentor junior procurement officers.

Order of Merit : Applicants rated as suitable will be placed in a merit pool that may be used to fill similar ongoing or non-ongoing positions throughout the Agency for up to 18 months.

Salary : This role offers between$120,486 - $137,417 plus 15.4% superannuation depending on skills and experience.
