Engineering Manager – AI &Automation As an Engineering Manager with a focus on AI / ML and automation, you will lead and mentor high-performing engineering teams in building scalable, intelligent software solutions powered by machine learning and data-driven technologies. You’ll drive technical excellence across AI / ML systems, collaborate cross-functionally to align engineering efforts with business goals, and foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous learning. Key Responsibilities : Lead, manage, and mentor engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture Guide the development of robust, scalable ML pipelines and intelligent software systems aligned with business needs Oversee project execution, ensuring model performance, code quality, and timely delivery Support engineers’ growth through coaching, feedback, and career development planning Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful AI-driven features Drive best practices in AI / ML engineering, architecture, and system design Promote modern development practices including Agile, CI / CD, MLOps, and reproducible research Identify and resolve technical and organizational challenges to maintain a productive and forward-thinking environment Professional Requirements and Expertise : 9+ years of experience in software engineering, including 5+ years in engineering management and team leadership Strong background in machine learning, data engineering, and scalable system design Hands-on experience with ML frameworks (e.G., TensorFlow, PyTorch), data platforms, Docker, Linux, and cloud environments (preferably AWS) Proven ability to lead Agile, cross-functional teams through the full ML lifecycle—from data ingestion to model deployment and monitoring Experience with automation tools, e.G. Airflow, and practices Good to Have : Knowledge of responsible AI practices, model governance, and compliance Familiarity with frontend technologies for AI product interfaces (e.G., Vue.Js, TypeScript, HTML, CSS) Experience with backend frameworks such as Python (FastAPI, Flask), gRPC, GraphQL Exposure to AI / ML applications in areas like NLP, computer vision or recommendation systems Personal Skills : Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Strategic thinker with a hands-on, proactive approach High motivation, flexibility, and resilience in dynamic environments Team-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and quality Committed to fostering a culture aligned with 4flow’s values and long-term success
