Admissions Officer

Key Accountabilities :

• Process the admission of international students through efficient, timely and accurate assessment of applications including assessment against the Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) framework based on set entrance criteria.
• Prepare and analyse data for internal and external reporting and run regular reports to ensure applications are assessed within agreed timeframes.
• Demonstrate an excellent understanding of University programs including academic and English entry requirements.
• Identify, recommend, and document qualifications for the University’s recognition and inclusion into pathway / articulation documents. Suggest possible improvements in admissions procedures with the overall aim of improving application turnaround time.
• Handle inquiries, provide information, advice and referrals to other services on / off campus, in relation to program information, fee inquiries, enrolment status, student visas, Overseas Student Health Cover and scholarships.
• Efficient, timely and accurate updating of student records in the database, scanning of documents received in hard copy, manage notifications and emails generated by the system as well as external emails and incoming phone calls.
• Provide support to the International Admissions Manager, South Asia Hub, recruitment team and relevant stakeholders with respect to international marketing and recruitment of international students throughout India and South Asia region with the aim of increasing student enrolments and meeting the recruitment target set for the region.
• Maintain excellent collaborative working relationships with the University’s agent representative network in the Region and assist the University in monitoring compliance by its recruitment agents in the region.
• Other activities across the Operations area as required.

Person Specifications :

Salary-6.50 to 8.00 lacs Per Anuum
