Key Responsibilities :

  • Edit and reformat acquired / licensed video content into engaging YouTube-ready videos.
  • Ensure all edits comply with content usage rights, copyright, and platform policies.
  • Enhance content with smooth transitions, text overlays, intros / outros, background music, and relevant graphics.
  • Optimize videos for YouTube standards including pacing, aspect ratio, retention strategies, and metadata alignment.
  • Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to ensure videos meet channel goals and branding guidelines.
  • Organize and manage media assets efficiently to maintain a consistent workflow.
  • Stay current with YouTube editing styles, content trends, and best practices.

Requirements :

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Proven experience editing video content for YouTube or digital platforms.
  • Understanding of copyright, fair use, and content licensing principles.
  • Strong sense of pacing, visual flow, and narrative structure.
  • Basic skills in sound editing, color correction, and motion graphics are a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects.
  • Portfolio or demo reel of past YouTube or re-edited licensed content is required.
