Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant with at least 8+ years of hands-on expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O). The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering functional solutions, managing finance-related modules, and ensuring successful implementation, customization, and optimization of D365 Finance in alignment with business needs. This is a contractual role with remote working flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document finance requirements.
  • Configure, implement, and support Dynamics 365 Finance modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management, Budgeting, Project Accounting, etc.).
  • Translate business requirements into functional design documents and solution blueprints.
  • Support data migration activities, testing cycles (UAT, SIT), and cutover planning.
  • Collaborate with technical consultants for integrations, customizations, and reporting needs.
  • Provide guidance and training to end-users on finance modules.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices, finance processes, and system controls.
  • Troubleshoot functional issues and recommend improvements or optimizations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for finance-related features within Dynamics 365.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 8+ years of functional experience in Finance Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (AX / D365 Finance).
  • Strong understanding of finance business processes and accounting principles.
  • Expertise in core Finance modules : GL, AP, AR, FA, Budgeting, and related areas.
  • Proven track record of end-to-end D365 Finance implementations.
  • Experience with data migration, testing methodologies, and UAT support.
  • Excellent documentation and functional design skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, client-facing role.
  • Finance / accounting certification (CA, CPA, MBA Finance) is a plus.
