We are seeking a dynamic, on-camera Video Anchor who holds a financial degree (or equivalent) and has a keen interest in unlisted markets and the share market. The anchor will create, present and host compelling video content (short-form, long-form, live and recorded) to educate, inform and engage investors about unlisted companies, share-market movements, investment strategies, IPO / pre-IPO trends, and related topics.
Key Responsibilities
Anchor and present video segments on topics like unlisted shares, private equity, IPOs / pre-IPOs, share-market trends, company analysis and investor education.
Collaborate with research, content and video-production teams to develop scripts, talking points and storylines.
Conduct interviews with founders of unlisted companies, industry analysts, investors, and subject-matter experts.
Translate complex financial and investment concepts into clear, engaging content suitable for retail investors.
Host live and recorded sessions across digital platforms (YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, company website) and manage audience interaction (Q&A, live chat).
Monitor and analyse market developments (both listed and unlisted), prepare segment briefs, fact-check data and ensure content accuracy.
Bring creative ideas for formats such as explainers, myth-busting, weekly round-ups, deep dives on company and market stories.
Maintain on-screen presence, confident delivery, adhere to brand guidelines and contribute to production planning (studio set, teleprompter, post-production checks).
Work with marketing / SEO / social teams to optimise reach and engagement of video content (thumbnails, metadata, social clips etc).
Ensure compliance with regulatory / disclosure norms when discussing investments / unlisted shares.
Must-Have Qualifications & Skills
Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration (specialisation in Finance) or equivalent.
Strong interest and demonstrable knowledge of the share market (equities) and preferably unlisted / private-company investment / unlisted markets.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; articulate, engaging and confident on-camera.
Prior experience (ideally 2-5 years) in anchoring, presenting, financial journalism, content creation for finance or related media.
Ability to simplify complex financial / investment material for a non-expert audience.
Comfortable working under deadlines, live or recorded formats, multi-platform media (video + social).
Fluency in English; knowledge of Hindi (or other Indian language) is a plus.
Basic understanding of video production workflow, teleprompter usage, studio broadcast environment (preferred).
Analytical mindset : staying abreast of market / unlisted-company developments, reading financial statements or company data, and converting insights into story-segments.
