Job description
We have already built an amazing team; now we are seeking a hands-on manager to help guide and shape the crew. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced person with a passion for food and outstanding customer experience and ideally a background in another hospitality or foodservice role. You will be involved in activities such as rostering, training, stock control, waste and cost management, and for filling our wholesale department. What you will be doing….. • Assist where necessary with training of Deli procedure to new employees. • Foster a spirit of teamwork and synergy among the entire team; • Promote a culture which supports ethical practices, encourages individual integrity and represents OASIS values • Set and exceptional standard of personal presentation • Managing our wholesale deli orders and deli area of the business. Our team culture has to be seen to be believed. Our Deli Managers pride themselves on the integral role that they play in the development of our team culture. In this role you can expect to work through a diverse range of responsibilities that include assisting customers, ordering and replenishing displays, product preparation, rostering, team training and development, KPI adherence and business development, and maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment. OASIS …. Who Are We? Oasis is a South-Eastern suburbs institution. From humble beginnings supplying its own cafés and groceries, our bakery also supplies a diverse range of middle eastern pastries and flatbreads and yeasted and un-yeasted breads to many wholesale customers. We currently have venues in Murrumbeena and Fairfield, including venues in NSW, and we are pleased to announce a new venue opening in Mornington Peninsula, in May 2022. We are incredibly excited about our new venue, and it is testament to the rapid growth Oasis is experiencing.
