Job Title : International Sales Manager / Senior Executive – Global Business Development

Department : International Sales & Marketing

Reports To : Director – Sales & Marketing

Employment Type : Full-time

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven International Sales Manager / Senior Executive – Global Business Development to lead and expand our international sales operations in the medical devices sector. This role requires strategic market development, distributor network setup, client acquisition, and strong team leadership. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth across key international markets, managing high-value client relationships, and representing the company in global exhibitions and conferences.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

1. Business Development & Sales Growth

  • Develop and execute strategic international sales plans to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in untapped markets.
  • Lead the entire sales cycle – from lead generation and proposal development to negotiation and closure.
  • Expand and strengthen the company's global distributor and partner network.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build, maintain, and grow long-term relationships with key international clients and distributors.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to ensure customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Manage high-value accounts and ensure timely resolution of client issues.
  • 3. Market Expansion & Intelligence

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and regulatory landscapes across regions.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market developments to recommend proactive business strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to position products effectively for target regions.
  • 4. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead, guide, and mentor the international sales team to achieve individual and departmental KPIs.
  • Set clear sales goals, track performance metrics, and conduct regular team reviews.
  • Foster a high-performance, customer-focused sales culture within the team.
  • 5. Distributor Network Development

  • Identify, onboard, and manage distributors and channel partners across international markets.
  • Define distributor performance benchmarks and ensure achievement of sales and marketing goals.
  • Support distributors in marketing initiatives, training programs, and joint business planning.
  • 6. Travel, Representation & Client Engagement

  • Travel internationally and domestically for client meetings, distributor visits, and market development.
  • Represent the company at international conferences, trade fairs, and exhibitions.
  • Deliver impactful presentations and product demonstrations to clients and partners.
  • 7. Strategic Planning & Reporting

  • Develop quarterly and annual international sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Prepare and present business performance reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, QA / RA, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless order execution.
  • Qualifications & Skills

    Education :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience :

  • Minimum 3–8 years of experience in international sales, preferably in the medical devices, healthcare, or life sciences sector.
  • Proven track record in lead conversion, distributor management, and achieving revenue targets.
  • Experience in handling multi-country sales operations and client negotiations.
  • Key Skills :

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to analyze global market trends.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally and domestically as required.
