Salesforce Business Development Manager

Job descriptionGenerate leads and manage the full sales cycle for Salesforce services (implementation, customization, support, and staffing). Develop a strong pipeline through outbound efforts, networking, LinkedIn outreach, and partnerships. Understand client business processes and map them to Salesforce capabilities. Drive consultative sales discussions, demos, proposals, and pricing negotiations. Collaborate with pre-sales consultants, customer success, and marketing teams to deliver compelling solution proposals. Respond to RFPs / RFIs and support bid management processes. Manage CRM entries and provide accurate weekly / monthly sales forecasts. Stay up-to-date on Salesforce products, services, industry trends, and competitive landscape. 3-6 years of B2B sales experience in IT / CRM / SaaS services, with at least 2+ years in Salesforce services sales. Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and related modules. Experience in closing mid- to large-size Salesforce implementation or staffing deals. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in using CRM tools (preferably Salesforce). Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related fields. MBA is a plus. Experience selling to clients in India / Canada / US markets. Exposure to verticals like Healthcare, BFSI, or Retail. Salesforce certifications or knowledge of AppExchange is a plus.
