Role Overview :
We are seeking a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Analyst / Teamcenter Administrator to take ownership of our Siemens Teamcenter environment. This individual will be responsible for day-to-day system administration, end-user support, and proactive engagement with Siemens support to ensure stability, security, and long-term scalability of our PLM platform. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, balancing both technical administration and user-facing responsibilities, and acting as the subject matter expert for all things Teamcenter.
What you'll be doing :
- System Administration
- Administer and maintain Siemens Teamcenter in a Windows server environment
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security roles
- Monitor system health, performance, and integrations with CAD, Solidworks
- Apply patches, updates, and coordinate upgrades in alignment with vendor recommendations and IT security policies
User Support & Training
Serve as the primary point of contact for Teamcenter-related issuesTroubleshoot application and user issues, escalating to Siemens support when necessaryDevelop and deliver user training and documentation to improve adoption and efficiencyVendor & Stakeholder Management
Work directly with Siemens support on incident resolution, proactive maintenance, and roadmap planningSupport vendors and suppliers on Teamcenter integrations, ensuring smooth data exchange and compatibility with partner systemsCollaborate with external parties (suppliers, contractors, partners) to securely provision and manage access to the Teamcenter environment, following company security policies and compliance requirementsPartner with engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to align Teamcenter capabilities with organizational needsProvide input on PLM strategy, licensing, and integration planningProcess & Data Governance
Ensure Teamcenter remains the authoritative source for engineering data, software, firmware, and documentationMaintain compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and industry standardsSupport best practices in data management, workflow design, and lifecycle managementWhat you have :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline3+ years of hands-on Teamcenter administration experienceWorking knowledge of Windows Server administrationFamiliarity with CAD integrations (SolidWorks, OrCAD, NX) and version compatibility requirementsExperience with user training, technical documentation, and end-user supportAbility to work independently with minimal supervision, while managing vendor escalations effectivelyNice to have :
Experience with Teamcenter upgrades and migration projects (e.g., from legacy versions to supported releases)Understanding of PLM workflows, lifecycle management, and engineering change processesKnowledge of database administration (Oracle / SQL Server) supporting TeamcenterFamiliarity with scripting (PowerShell or Python) for automationSkills Required
