Key Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and manage comprehensive SAP data archiving strategies for various SAP modules (ECC, S / 4HANA, etc.).
• Oversee the archiving of documents within SAP, ensuring proper storage, retrieval, and compliance.
• SAP ILM Implementation : Lead and execute SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) projects, including policy definition, data retention, and destruction.
• Provide expertise and support for SAP system decommissioning and data carve-out projects, ensuring data integrity and legal compliance.
• Utilize and manage Data Archiving and Reporting Tool (DART) for extracting and analyzing archived data, especially for tax and audit purposes.
• Possess hands-on experience in migrating to SAP Data Archiving across different SAP versions (e.g., ECC to S / 4HANA).
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of country-specific legal requirements related to data retention and privacy, such as GDPR, SOX, and India's DPDP (Digital Personal Data Protection) Act.
• Work closely with functional teams, with specific experience in at least one functional module within S / 4HANA or ECC, strong focus on FI / CO and Logistics modules.
• Collaborate effectively with technical teams, functional consultants, legal, and business stakeholders to ensure successful archiving and data management solutions.
• Provide expert support for archiving-related issues, ensuring smooth system operations and data accessibility.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for archiving processes, policies, and Skills & Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-6 years of experience specifically in SAP ILM Archiving.
• Proficiency in SAP data archiving, document archiving, and SAP ILM.
• Hands-on experience with DART (Data Archiving and Reporting Tool).
• Proven experience in system decommissioning and carve-out projects.
• Mandatory hands-on experience in migrating to SAP Data Archiving across different SAP versions (ECC to S / 4HANA experience is highly preferred).
• Strong understanding of country-specific legal requirements related to data retention and privacy (e.g., GDPR, SOX, DPDP).
• Experience with S / 4HANA or ECC in at least one functional module, with a strong focus on FI / CO and Logistics.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills are a must.
