We’re looking for a Frontend React Native CLI Contributor to work closely with our Yosemite Crew mobile app. You’ll help shape delightful, intuitive user experiences that make technology feel like a true partner for veterinary teams.

Role Description

The contributor will be responsible for developing new features, optimising the performance of the frontend mobile application, and maintaining code quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with the product team, addressing issues or bugs, and ensuring responsive, user-friendly design tailored for mobile platforms. The role also involves contributing to the open-source codebase and participating in peer code reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with React Native CLI and TypeScript .
• Proficient in JavaScript , component-based architecture, and reusable code design.
• Familiarity with AI API integrations (e.g., OpenAI, Replicate, Hugging Face).
• Understanding of AWS fundamentals and cloud deployment.
• Experience with OTA tools (EAS Update, CodePush).
• Knowledge of Git , open-source contribution workflows, and collaborative repositories.
• Comfortable working with mobile app store submission , build pipelines , and CI / CD .
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Software Engineering , or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a remote, async-first environment.
