Join ACWA Power , a global leader in sustainable energy and desalination, driving the transition toward cleaner power. We’re seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Lead to join our Renewables Engineering Office in Bangalore.

About the Role

As the Electrical BoP Design Lead , you’ll take ownership of electrical design activities across BESS, Wind, and Solar PV projects — ensuring optimized, reliable, and cost-effective designs. You’ll prepare and coordinate Basic Design & FEED packages , validate external designs, and provide critical engineering support across the full project lifecycle.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical design and BoP engineering for renewable energy projects (Solar PV, Wind, BESS).
  • Prepare and validate Basic Engineering & FEED documents, including design basis reports, SLDs, and electrical calculations.
  • Support bid preparation and investment reviews , ensuring technical consistency and cost optimization.
  • Guide EPC contractors and cross-functional teams to ensure design excellence and compliance with global standards.
  • Collaborate with vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to enhance project efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • 10–15 years of relevant experience in the Renewable Power and Utilities sector.
  • Strong technical command of tools such as ETAP, CYMCAP, PVSYST, and AutoCAD .
  • Deep knowledge of Power Systems, Electrical BoP Design, and Equipment Specifications .
